Nov. 202501 —Origin and drive
I'm a Venezuelan Industrial Engineer. I emigrated in 2020 — in the middle of the pandemic — not running away from something, but looking for the environment where I could truly grow professionally. I arrived in Chile without a guaranteed job or experience in the sector I was about to enter. With two other people, I formed a company importing and selling laser machinery, CNC routers, and 3D printers from China. I knew nothing about those machines. I did know how to sell, negotiate, and move cargo. I learned what was missing.
That's where I discovered what truly fascinated me: international logistics. Moving cargo between countries, understanding Incoterms in practice, coordinating suppliers in China, customs in Chile, clients in different cities. That process hooked me. And I decided to master it formally.
02 —Education as a strategic decision
I planned it and executed it: I went to Spain to pursue a Master's in Advanced Production, Logistics and Supply Chain Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València (2024–2025, average grade: 8.3). To complete and complement it, I pursued a Master's in Data Science and Big Data at IEBS Business School, Barcelona (2025–2026, average grade: 9.63).
The logic was clear: supply chain without data is blind management, and data without operational domain is numbers without context. I wanted both.
When I returned, I landed a remote position at a 3PL company based in the United States, with operations from Ireland to the entire American continent. That's where everything I had learned converged — and where I started building what was missing.
03 —What I build
I don't come from the traditional IT world. I come from operations. That defines how I work: first I understand the business process, then I understand the operation, and only then do I build and implement the solution. End-to-end, without depending on others to close the loop.
I've developed two SaaS platforms from scratch: one for 3PL operations management, now in production with over 400 packages and 120 international shipments managed in its first 90 days; another for the full administration of a dance academy with 120 active students. Both solve real problems I lived before building them.
I'm currently expanding my profile into IT infrastructure management, working on equipment deployment for Avianca in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, and completing Microsoft's SC-900 and MD-102 certifications.
04 —How I work and what I'm looking for
I operate well at the intersection of operations, data, and development. I've managed projects, built systems, analyzed data, and led teams — sometimes all at once. I don't specialize in just one thing because real problems rarely fit in a single discipline.
I'm available for both employment positions and consulting, with preference for projects touching data, operations, development, or technology project management.
My English is at B1 level — functional for written work and actively improving. I mention it because I prefer transparency over surprises.
